Television

Now that most of you know that myself along with four other very strong people have aquired TV lets review why others don't have TV.

1) They never realy had TV to begin with
2) There was no way they were able to establish any business relationships with sponsors or local merchants that would support the product.
3) Superfical ideas of what they needed to do to keep the product growing.
4) Branding. They had no clue as to what branding is outside of the cattle business.

Now I know what all the pundits will say. You don't know this either. Well that is where they are incorrect. Not only am I learning about the business of television, but I have applied one simple rule of business to this entire venture. If I don't know what is going on, I better get someone involved who does.

Knowing your faults and weeknesses in business is not a bad thing. It is a great thing. This allows you to verbaly convey your message to other team players and have them execute these plans. Thus providing an environment of success and co-operation.

For those of you that say, you don't know anything about TV and you will fail. I say thank you. I sit back every time I hear that and I say, Did Vince know how to operate a camera? Did Vince know how to use the production equipment? No he did'nt. I am sure over the years he has some technical knowledge from osmosis, and from Kevin Dunn.

What does this tell me? It tell's me that as long as I trust the people on the team, and help create an environment of communication of ideas and thoughts, our company will thirve.
